It was purchased for a junior high school play costume. I expected a bit better quality but it did the trick.
NOTES: There are only a couple small pieces of Velcro that hold the back together. I ended up having to sew up some bad spots and add more Velcro strips to the back to make it close correctly. Otherwise it would have gaped open where there were no closures. Definitely runs small. My daughter wears an adult large shirt and size large or 12 pant. Ordered the XL in this (after reading that it ran small) and it still just barely fit.

I was disappointed that there are no decent Alice in Wonderland costumes for a decent price. I was happy this came in time when I did buy this but the quality is not worth how much they ask. If I would have saved up and had more time I would of bought something else. But for what I had to work with this honestly wasn’t the worst last resort. It did have very loose loops for the apron for the arms but it was an easy fix with some safety pins. The back isn’t very trusting so make sure sure you wear something underneath. I did read the reviews on this and went up a size which I was glad I did it fit just right though.

This is a modest Alice in Wonderland Costume my daughter wore to a party. It fits nicely, though the material is a little thin. She wore the white stockings and had to use a safety pin to tighten up the white apron in the back. She looked perfect!

The apron was a bit big & the dress was snug. It said it was XL, size 12 to14, but I think it fits more like a 12. The apron is very cute & nicely made, and the dress has a very cute petticoat underneath it (attached) that is well made & helps the skirt stand out more. I really like it, but the Velcro does catch easily on the satin fabric. So beware, it snags fairly easily. I was able to wear it, just pinned the apron to make it fit better & added a little extra material & Velcro to the back to make it less snug.

I was very disappointed in this. At least 2 sizes too small. I normally wear Medium-Large in all my clothes. I ordered X-Large to have extra room for warm clothes underneath. It was too small with nothing underneath and very thin material. The size on the package says XL= size 12-14 (this was not in the description) and XL is a 33′ waist (that’s nowhere near an XL or even a L). Not happy that I had to send back with no time to reorder something else before I needed it. One plus-I was able to send it back with free shipping and the refund was reflected within 2 days.

This dress is as shown. Generally I wear a size medium somewhere between an 8 and 10, but I ordered extra large because the other reviews said it ran small. It runs very small. I realized the problem is they don’t accommodate for a woman’s figure. If you wear a bra size of C or greater the bodice fits very tight. If you’re small chested, it should be fine. It’s a very nice costume and I would recommend it but on a larger chested person you will have to figure out how to accommodate for that. I also bought a petticoat as recommended on another review and that does make a difference!

The dress fits BUT, there is only one velcro fastener for the dress, at the top. So, the rest of the dress is wide open, unless I want to spend the time and money to sew velcro onto the dress. I shouldn’t have to do this an the dress will be returned. And, I ordered the same dress in smaller size, and there were several velcro fasteners down the back and the skirt had a nice petticoat sewn in. This one has only lace trim, so it wasn’t even the same dress. Very disappointed and won’t ever order from this store again.

This costume is exactly as pictured and is the perfect costume for Alice! The material is your typical shiny Halloween costume material and it is very breathable. I wore this for hours on Halloween and had no complaints.

This was a very good quality costume. My only comments on it was that it was much smaller than you might expect. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and bought a bigger size. It was for my daughter who usually wears a small-medium and the large fit just right. It Velcro’s in sections along the back, so you may need to use pins or a shirt under it. The apron is a separate piece but it didn’t sit flat on the back, so we simply pinned it and it worked great. This was the only modest Alice costume we could find and the material was a lot more substantial Han any we could find at the Halloween stores. It was perfect.

I’m 5’7″ and thin but bought a medium to make sure it was going to be long enough as I was going to a kid friendly party. With it tying in the back it was perfectly fine, could have probably bought a Small. The medium came to my knees and the only problem was the straps on the back of the apron were droopy because I didn’t “fill it out”. The dress itself is thin, the apron however is of better quality and thicker.
